Description: Native plant with purple shaded (occasionally white) bell flowers opening on one side of a spire. Will grow happily in a wooded or shady site. Full flowered colourful hybrids available. Medicinal. Leaves are used to extract digitalin to treat heart complaints. However, please leave this to the professionals as this plant is poisonous.
